Teen of Impact is all about creating opportunities for good heart health in communities across the country where heart disease remains the No. 1 killer. During this 9-week competition, young people who want to make a difference are inspired to take action for their own hearts and the hearts of the people who mean the world to them.
Nominees from across the country create Impact Teams, and together, they use their social networks to spread the word about heart health, raise money for life-saving research, and advocate for the well-being of all people. And here’s the cool part: as they do all this, they earn points for the impact they’re making in their community and beyond so that future generations can live longer, healthier lives.
At the end of the campaign, the nominee who makes the biggest impact and raises the most funds in their local community is announced as the Teen of Impact winner in their city. But that’s not all – the nominee who earns the most points across the entire country is named the National Teen of Impact Winner by the American Heart Association.
Mia was selected as the 2025 SWFL Teen of Impact and needs your support! Her fund-raising campaign kicks off on National "Go Red for Women" day, Friday February 7th, 2025! Fundraising goes until April 10th, 2025!
At The Cycle, we aim to reintroduce women's health care by exploring the physical, mental, and social well-being of true health that goes beyond just surface level conversations. It is our goal to support women's health, organize meaningful fundraisers, run awareness campaigns, and provide resources to educate and give back, locally and globally.
Our mission goes beyond raising awareness about these challenges; we also focus on providing local solutions, by distributing feminine products to schools in SWFL. Recognizing that these issues have a global reach, we are also committed to delivering feminine products to churches in need across different countries.
At The Cycle we encourage women to stay in touch with their body and their health. We put together a full list of great resources, doctors, clinics and more to assist you!
